Quick Harry Potter Stuff for Dolls!

Perhaps your doll is a fan of Luna Lovegood? Maybe she just wants to spice up an outfit? Is she deathly afraid of Nargles? Either way, this is the perfect accessory for her -- Luna Lovegood's ever-so dearly famous spectrespecs!

Simply print out the template, cut the pieces out and attach to cardboard, then assemble the parts together with hot glue.

Then, your doll has her very own pair of spectrespecs! Plus, here's a printout for an issue of the Quibbler to read while hunting down Nargles!

As for the Quibbler, just print out the template, and fold a crease straight down the middle. Let your doll read it upside down for true enjoyment!

Aaand..your doll is set for a wonderful day in Diagon Alley! Although she may want a wand. Maybe she'll procure one at Ollivander's?

For a wand, you'll want a small stick that'll make a good size for a wand. Get a hot glue gun, and make a spiral glaze, much like Hermione's wand.

Something to Rant About

I'd like to start off by saying that there will an Arctic Monkeys reference in this post, and if you catch it, you will win 17 virtual cookies.
Ok, so my family was at a sushi restaurant nearby, and my sister & I finished our food early. Our parents let us go to the local Goodwill to pass the time while they were eating. Right as I walk in, I see a lady, probably in her mid 40's holding an American Girl doll. Not just any doll, though, Samantha! Samantha was my first ever doll that I wanted, that is AG, and the lady wasn't even holding her correctly. She was close, so close that the walls were wet. And she wrote it out in letraset.
If only I'd gotten there, say, two minutes before her. I would've definitely gotten her! Angered much? Yes. Well, welcome to life. -.^

AG Printables: 2G

No, AG Printables is not an iPhone. But it isn't AG Printables, either. {wait.. whaaa?} Welcome to the second generation of AG Printables. Now how on earth is this a good thing and what the heck is happening here?
By the end of this post, those questions should be answered.
So the first thing included in this AG Printables update is the fact that we're changing the name of AG Printables itself! Welcome to Doll Ponderings! Next update, we'll be posting a lot more, not in one main area, but generally. Yes, it's kind of hard to have three blogs, but it's definitely a work in progress! Although we don't want this blog to be about the scoop on dolly this and dolly that, we will definitely be including updates about AGTube {more info on that coming soon} and the AG community. And plus, we'll be updating the look every few months/season. Enjoy the new template? {of course you do!} Oh, and if you haven't noticed, we have new pages. How to Make Doll Beds

Hey guys! Skye here, and I'm going to show you how to make a super simple king-sized doll bed! This is great if you have one doll or if you have a favorite doll.

What you'll need:

- Two American Girl boxes, or a box that will fit two dolls on top

{I doubt that if you have one doll, you'll have two American Girl boxes}

- A fabric that will fit over the boxes

- Construction paper

- Wood, cardboard, or a pillow

1. The first step is to lay both boxes upside-down, next to each other. You can tape them together, if desired.

2. Lay the fabric on top of the boxes and fold the top part, as shown in the image below.

3. If the boxes show, then cover that part in construction paper.

4. In the back, add a headboard. You can use wood, a pillow, or cardboard. I'm using the lid of a storage ottoman.

5. And what's a bed without pillows? 

{here's a quick tutorial within a tutorial. :) my quick secret on making a doll pillow is getting a text book cover, and fluffing one pocket with packing peanuts. add a soft fabric over the packing peanuts. fold the other pocket and pin it to the stuffed pocket. confusing, much? there'll be a post on that asap.}
